This
website is a database of links to Family First resources and is a collaborative
project by stakeholder groups to conduct an objective review of research on
programs and services intended to provide enhanced support to children and
families and prevent foster care placements.
Annie E Casey Family First Communication Toolkit: A downloadable toolkit to help child
welfare leaders, providers, advocates, and others talk about Family First.
The Prevention Services Clearinghouse: A database of placement prevention
services that are classified as well-supported, supported, promising, or does
not currently meet criteria. Family First provides federal reimbursement for
well-supported, supported, and promising services.
Oregon Resources
Oregon
Legislative Family First Work Group: This group, made up of legislative,
provider, state, and community stakeholders has been meeting since 2018 to
develop, plan, and analyze laws and rules in the implementation of Family
First.
Oregon
Child Welfare Services Work Team: This team, made up of DHS Child
Welfare Program and other state stakeholder groups (such as Oregon Health
Authority), has been meeting to oversee planning of implementation of services
in Oregon’s Family First plan.
