Cathryn Stephens, A.A.E. is the Airport Director for the Eugene Airport in Oregon. An Accredited Airport Executive, Cathryn serves on the American Association of Airport Executives Board of Directors and as chair of the AAAE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
For the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies, Cathryn has participated on several Airport Cooperative Research Program panels, and currently serves as a member of the ACRP Oversight Committee.
She is past president of the Northwest Chapter of AAAE and of the Oregon Airport Management Association. She has also served on the Oregon Department of Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee.
Cathryn holds a courtesy faculty appointment at Oregon State University, co-teaching Airport Planning and Design, a graduate level course for the Civil Engineering Department. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Journalism from OSU and a Master of Science in Applied Information Management from the University of Oregon.
Cathryn is a member of the Travel Lane County Board of Directors and the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Commission. She serves on the planning committees for the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials and the IAAF World Athletics Championships Oregon 2022
