Overview
The
Oregon Performance Plan to improve mental health services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) commits to several performance outcome measures, quality and performance improvement measures, further data gathering and study of certain issues, and data reporting. These measures cover a broad array of subjects, including:
- Assertive Community Treatment Services;
- Crisis services;
- Supported housing;
- Peer-delivered services;
- Oregon State Hospital discharges and linkages to services;
- Acute psychiatric care discharges and linkages to services;
- Emergency department services;
- Supported employment services;
- Secure Residential Treatment Facility discharges;
- Criminal Justice diversion.
The result of lengthy discussions with the U.S. Department of Justice (USDOJ) Civil Rights Division, the Plan's term ran from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2019. OHA's Behavioral Health Quality and Performance Improvement Plan continues to track the outcome measures outlined in the Oregon Performance plan.
