The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality submitted its 2024 Integrated Report to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on March 12, 2025. The report is now considered “state final" and is awaiting EPA approval. The 2022 Integrated Report remains in effect until EPA approves the 2024 report. In addition to the general reporting, this assessment includes four new pollutants and conditions DEQ evaluated in the draft 2024 Integrated Report: ocean acidification, marine hypoxia, aquatic trash and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS).
DEQ held two webinars that walked through updates and conclusions from the draft 2024 Integrated Report. The video below provides information on how to use the online tools listed above.
